The Omega theme seems to be the most popular base theme to use when building a responsive Drupal 7 theme. I started reading the documentation and after several pages, I grew weary. I was looking for a quick way to build a mobile-friendly theme for a volunteer project for my brother’s construction business. So I turned to Sky and Adaptive Theme. (http://drupal.org/project/sky)

Using Drush to Install Drupal 7

You can follow these simple directions and use Drush to easily install your new Drupal 7 website. These commands work well on a Linux operating system. If you are using Quickstart, there are some built in commands to make this process even simpler. See Using Quickstart and Drush to Install Drupal 7.
